Small Business Performance in Industries in LMI Neighborhoods After the Great Recession: Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, and Los Angeles

In partnership with Dun & Bradstreet, the Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO) collaborated on this study with researchers at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago to assess the performance of small businesses in low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods in the wake of the Great Recession. The aim of the project was to identify the impact of small businesses in LMI neighborhoods, and provide a comparative assessment of their performance against small businesses in non-LMI neighborhoods across five cities.
